WAIT OR DON'T WAIT?

As I was leaving Hurstville station today, accidently saw an ad that says "Good things come to those who don't wait."

Is that so...?

I remember a song called "In His Time";

In His time
In His time
He makes all things beautiful
In His time
Lord please show me everyday
As You're teaching me Your way
Let You do just what You say
In Your time
.......
In Your time
In Your time
You make all things beautiful
In Your time
Lord my life to You I bring
May each song I have to sing
Be to You a lovely thing
In Your time
So... wait!

Hmmm.. yeah, we all need to be more patient. But i there is definitely something good about being shrewd and zealous. I have a habit of waiting for things to happen rather than making them happen. But all is in God's hands, even all the decisions that you make. Of course it depends on what you are waiting for....

But that ad is pretty weak compared to the AXA ads... Those are just wrong!

Yea I know what you mean Damon. It depends on what we are waiting for. Usually big decisions will involve great deal of waiting and trust in the Lord. Not that in small things we don't. We should trust and wait on Him in every decision, and believe that it is the best God has for us all, also not that we just sit down and do nothing.

Obviously that ad wasn't made out of Christian context - it just got me thinking.
