LIVE WITH/WITHOUT
Just came back from drama practice at Church, I was going to bed, but somehow felt like posting something now (in case later I forget).
Busy and long days for me this week. Study, work and ministry are more than enough to keep me occupied, especially ministry at church has been so demanding - it is preparing for the upcoming Good Friday and Easter. In the end may I/we not loose sight of what's really significant and important in these events, that is Jesus' death and ressurection which brought us eternal salvation. Pray that everything we are so consumed with right now (that is drama, music, choir, etc), they only point to one purpose, we long to tell/remind people about 'the Lord Jesus' who saved us once and for all, His sacrifice brought us new life in Christ, Jesus fills our hearts with heavenly peace. It isn't about the production, not how organised we are, nor how competent the players are... Lets focus on the message and Who the message is about! Finally I wanna pray that He'll keep us humble and totally surrendered to His power and might. Only God will make this happen, only Holy Spirit God can work in each heart and be changed.
Part of me feels really good, less burden, because I've finished my final composing (sorry Ing for the delay.. thx for your understanding). At least now I don't have divided concentration between my Uni and the pressure of composing. I had been so worried that I wouldn't make it in time. O well, all done! We just need to practice a little bit more now.
What is it that you can't live without? (Not in a spiritual sense hehe). There might be a variety of answers there, but I think I can't live without a watch (jam tangan), although I don't really like wearing a watch. Often when I need the time, my mobile has it, easy, I don't need a watch. It was so unlucky that I left my mobile at someone's place on Wed night and haven't got it back until now. I went out to Uni on Thursday having no watch and remember (?) I didn't have my mobile either! It was so hard for me, I lost track of time, I could only guess roughly by looking at the position of the sun (nah.. I'm joking, I'm not that smart yet). So I ended up having to ask people the time (I don't like bothering people you know.., but I had to then). I could survive without technology - mobile (just a matter of convenience), but definitely couldn't live without a watch/time (NOW I could appreciate my watch abit more hehe, where's my watch?!).
