WORRIES

I often worry over nothing. I get really worried about alot of things which will eventually turn out just fine! I won't be able to share each worry here, as I have ALOT. But God opens up my eyes of faith again through His words, I shouldn't worry, and He proved Himself right, yeah He did, indeed. I am amazed by how gracious our God is, He stands on His promises, never fails us. :)

(Matthew 6:25,26)
25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

SUDDEN CRAVING!

Yes ... weird! I have been having this sudden craving for cheese and soymilk. I didn't like cheese that much before, I like soymilk but not animal milk. So I've been drinking soymilk and eating cheese (just like that, but the 98% fat free one). Well I feel alot refreshed and energised. Thank goodness to cheese and soymilk :)

Or maybe I shouldn't eat too much cheese, soymilk is OK. :p

HUSBAND WANTED

Husband wanted!

JUST A GLIMPSE

We've all seen poor people begging for money from the rich. How often do you see the rich following after the poor trying to stuff money into the poor's pocket? That's what God has done throughout the ages.

In the New Testament, Zaccheus just wanted to get a glimpse of Jesus. What did he get? Christ's attention, friendship and salvation! All we ask for is a gentle glance - we get God's arm around us! We would be happy being Christ's servant - He makes us His friend. We come staggering home from a pig-pen lifestyle with a broken heart and a well-rehearsed confession, and He gives us a robe, a ring, shoes and a royal welcome. God loves us beyond our comprehension.

Doesn't He amaze you?

HAPPY BDAY JO!

Happy Bday to Jo (151004)! God bless you, sis! :)

Were trying to organise a get together amongst our BS group for Jo's bday, feeling abit worried because a couple of members weren't gonna make it because of other schedule. Seemed that we would have to reschedule it and that would be going to make Jo feeling abit down. After tons of emails going back and forth, we'd decided to still go ahead with it at 3's' at Maroubra (for those you aren't yet aware, hehe *Irma*??). They cooked us Thai chicken green curry (by Tris) and noodles (by Jo), that was yummy!! Thank you 3's + Jo, that was very kind!

Well! To our surprise, the other 2 members who said they weren't going to make it, turned up! Goody! That was complete. We then had lots of fun, interviewing the bday girl, talking about very yucky stuff (the guys were, not the gals :-)), eating cakes, drinking coffee, dll (dan lain2). We stayed up till really late, 2 AM that was and no one "sort of" realised it, oh well maybe everyone did, but no one actually cared hehe. That was truly fun! We had so much laughter............... I loved the fellowship.

Arrived home around 2-ish, went to bed around 3am, just woke up then at 11, aaaaaa.........

EVENTS OF LIFE (CIIEEEE)

Feeling relieved because I had had my turn to present something to the class today at the Institute. What I had to do was to talk about one of the pieces of my program for this semester, which I would find the most technical difficulties in playing it and then talk about some solutions to that. That was scary for me, but everyone was surprisingly responsive and encouraging. I think I did it real bad, but the teacher said that was good. Oh well, I guess that must be good then ;p (kidding). But truly, how I "think" I went had absolutely nothing to do with the teacher's judgement.

Trying to get the moral out of this story that is, it's not us to judge how good/bad we are, it's rather God who sees through us and enables us to do what's good. Most of the time I feel like I can't make it up to God for all the wrongs I've done. Feel not quite worthy to serve Him, such a Holy God. But then He still can wonderfully use us for His purpose regardless of our bad. Isn't that amazing? I just can't begin to imagine the mind of God, no one can.

Amazingly enough to know that through the events of life you can often be reminded of God's promises and love.

I dreamt about winning a car last night, not sure what car it was, though nice one for sure.

Ah it's only a dream! If only that was a reality ......................... *in my dream*.

LONG WEEKEND HIGHLIGHTS

SAT - was Canberra trip, it was great! I personally had lots of fun. It was raining here and there. We had tuna breadroll for lunch over picnic, that was something different, haven't done that for a long time. Btw, Ken cooked the tuna, yummy! Actually I slept in until 10 pass 7am which we were supposed to gather at my place at 7am. I jumped out of my bed once I heard the buzzing going on. That was the worse feeling! Ken and Vic arrived first. I was lucky coz Tris, Joan and Shieny hadn't arrived so I had my chance to quicky get myself ready. I even got time to wash my hair and they still hadn't arrived when I finished. So that was a relief! Hehe.. we ended up leaving at approximately 8:30am after breakie. Then we had to leave Canberra earlier coz Tris had to work at Java. Arrived in Sydney at 7:30pm then had dinner at Java and talked until 10:30pm, hot discussion!

SUN - morning church. Then quick breakfast with the gang at Zellini's, quickly ran back to church for choir practice. Then we had Ko Harry's bday lunch, very nice of him and his family. I then had to teach music theory, then Eric+Dency's wedding music practice. Went home afterwards, felt really tired and took a 2-hour nap, wow! That helped! Woke up and I think I watched Australian Idol and had dinner at the same time. Then back to my assignment business.

MON - was the BIG day for Eric + Dency (FINALLY!!! *as everyone would say*). The ceremony went really well. So happy for them, almost in tears. Everyone was pretty and handsome. The ceremony was then continued with the wedding reception in Bankstown, some of us had a chance to go home and change, especially for the ladies. Well I didn't change, couldn't be bothered. It was only few hours in between before the reception. I still felt exhausted, I got home (in between those hours) and slept on the couch for approx. 15 mins, that would do. At 6pm got to the car and headed off to the reception location. The place was really nicely decorated, it was spacious, so many ppl came. Yeah, overall that was fun. Congratulations Eric + Dency! They must be so happy right now. :)

I'm still really tired at the moment.. but really satisfied with the fun I had over the long weekend. It's all good because God has been always good. :)
