SCARED OF BEING ILL? (PART II)

This is what she wrote on her website:

I do believe quality of life is a lot more important
than quantity of life. Besides, I have many good
friends from many different countries. When I read the
guestbook, I do think I am so lucky. I am truly blessed
by God. He let me go to so many different places before
falling ill. He let me know varieties of people before
giving me this ultimate challenge. He let me realize
his power and wisdom through the people I know. The
utmost importance is He let me find Him. Even though I
am sick, I am blessed. I just hope my faith in Him can
build stronger and stronger when day goes by.

I don't know how to express my thanks to all of you.
You all send me support from all different places. You
all have brightened up my day. You all have given me
huge support. You are the reason why I have the
energy, courage and strength to fight against the
disease. I would not be brave enough if I were alone.
Luckily, I have you all to back me up. Thank you very
much for being my friends. You won't know how much I
appreciate your existence. Thanks for signing the
guestbook and let me know you are around.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Here's more to read about her. Please pray for her if you would.

SCARED OF BEING ILL? (PART I)

I am scared of being so ill. Sure everyone is too.

My friend's friend has gotten really ill. She has uterine cancer/ovarian cancer at the final stage. Her left kidney has already burnt out because of the pressure from some enlarged lymph nodes. Her right kidney is having the same pressure too. Her lung is having complications which make it difficult for her to talk and breath. Her illness is now beyond what western medicine can cure.

Glanced through her photo gallery, she's turned really skinny but still could see her cheerful smile, what a courage! I signed her guestbook saying, "God loves you, be strong!". Some of her friends wrote, "Hang in there, I will always be with you", "I always pray for you, love you".

Are we still able to say those words to ourselves when we are in one of those situations, when there seems to be no way out whatsoever?

I probably can't imagine what she must be going through right now.
